One of the most memorable traveling work vacations was through Idaho taking over two hundred miles of National Forest Service gravel roads through the Rockies from McCall to Yellow Jacket lake to Salmon. I was surprised to see the good management and stock of historic properties of Rustic Architectural Style compared to other states I have visited. Many I eyed and dreamed of being able to preserve and contemplate the sheer volume of structures to preserve for future generations. I was honored to serve as field school instructor enabling me to learn areas of Idaho that would be difficult for me to spend time. I would enjoy more opportunities like these to gain a greater local knowledge of my neighboring state and help preserve their historic structures.
This area is very limited to late Spring through early Fall. We may consider Winter based on location.
